TAKLUNG MATRUL RINPOCHE – BODHISATTVA PATH IN TIBETAN BUDDHISM

Taklung Matrul Rinpoche will be teaching in Helsinki 15th and 16th of October. Rinpoche will be teaching Atisha’s sevenfold path and 37 bodhisattva’s teachings. These teachings are open to all those who wish to tame their minds and develop clear insight, skilfully overcomming disturbing emotions and cultivating positive qualities such as loving-kindness, compassion and patience, paving the path to more stable and peaceful way of being.

Tenzin Kunzang Jigme Rinpoche is the 7th Taklung Matrul Rinpoche. He is one of the main teachers of Taklung Kagyu lineage and leader of Taklung Yarthang monastery in Northern India. The late Kyabje Kangyur Rinpoche was diligently studying Taklung Kagyu teachings mainly under the supervision of Jedrung Rinpoche, whom he considered his root teacher. Taklung Matrul Rinpoche’s visit is his 7th teaching tour to Europe, which he has done at the request of Pema Wangyal Rinpoche. Teachings (in English) will be translated into Finnish.

Programme

Saturday schedule (15.10.2016): 9.30 – 12.30, lunch break 12.30 – 14.00

Teaching will continue 14.00 – 16.30

Sunday schedule (16.10.2016): 9.00 – 12.00, lunch break 12.00 – 13.30

Teaching will continue 13.30 – 15.45

Teaching place: Zen-Center, Kalevankatu 4, 00100 Helsinki

Teaching fee: 40 € / day, lunch is not included in the price

Discount teaching fee for students, pensioners and unemployed is 30 € /day or according to agreement.

There are only 50 seats in the teaching place so please register well in advance. Registration is necessary. We can quarantee the seat only for those who have registered.
